The twins serving dinner and breakfast are wonderful

The hotel is old but spotless. Family room was a good size. The staff were simply amazing. So attentive and lovely. Food was delicious. Covid precautions were perfect and we felt very safe. The leisure centre was spotless and recently refurbished.

Just back from a night away here and the whole experience was exactly what you would expect from a well run Irish hotel from the scenery around the hotel, to the interiors inside and especially the amazing welcoming staff they have working there.

We were very impressed with the precautions taken - automatic temperature taking at the entrance, sanitiser at every table, all staff masked, disposable cups in room- and the high standard of hygiene generally. It felt safe.

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch in the Castle Oaks on father's day. We arrived without any expectation but were pleasantly surprised by the reception we received. It's not often such attention, thoughtfulness and genuine hospitality is extended to a family
