Great hotel, great valu for money, very comfortable beds staff were lovely helped with any questions we had, ye get what you pay for

Good location. Swimming pool is excellent. Hotel rooms clean but dated. Lighting in our room was awful. Big bright cold wall lights or main light which does not set a nice atmosphere for an evening in the room with children. I bought a lamp!

Hotel was great for kids the youngest went to kids club both evenings and loved it made nice little friends so she was happy. Food was lovely and staff friendly and helpful only thing fire alarm went off twice on Sunday morning.

A lovely break away in a lovely city. The hotel is well situated near buses, trains and shopping. The pool and jacuzzi are very relaxing.

Convenient location if travelling by train.Good value when visiting family, bed very comfortable and shower works well. Tea and coffee in rooms is a bonus. Self service breakfast might not suit everyone.

Avery nice and enjoyable one night break away. All staff we came in contact were nice and courteous. The room was adequate with a recently renovated bathroom and a comfortable bed.Breakfast again was good and a nice selection. Would stay again.

Traceys Hotel is in a great location situated on the quayside. The service is wonderful food delicious. Stayed, family of 4 , 2 adults and 2 children. Room was great kids loved the beds and the play area. Very relaxed atmosphere, dated but homely.

A traditional hotel on the Quay. Very convenient to train station and walking around the city centre. Food excellent . Music in the bar on the 2 nights we were there. Room small but clean . The only negative is that the car park is a few minutes walk

My sisters and I stayed in Tracy's for one night we had a great experience the pool and jacuzzi are amazing. We went tothe bar brilliant music and atmosphere. We left a purse in the drawer an I rang they posted it up got it next day.thanks to Tracy's

Had such a great time room's are basic but exactly what we needed kids club was the best my daughter loved it so much.

Leisure centre needs to painted at least. Housekeeping manager and receptionists need to be more helpful and friendlier. Dermot a manager did everything he could possibly do for us during our stay. Very impressed with Dermot. Food very good.

Room very warm, ordered lamb shanks for our mains with a supplement, full of fat and grisel, reheated food, asked for extra gravy and told no as it was in the fridge. Pool not great for fun for kids, mostly lane swimming. Staff very pleasant.

My experience was really good everything around the hotel and the train station was literally a 5 minute walk which is so handy especially when travelling

Treacy’s Hotel is centrally located in Waterford city. Rooms are clean & staff are very friendly. Some rooms are in need of an update, which I believe is happening shortly. Very hard to regulate temp of room & shower though.

This is a fab hotel , 5 min walk from the city centre , driving distance to tramore beach. The food here was beautiful , really really good! Bedrooms were basic but nice and clean , nice big bed ! Overall my stay was really good.

2 B&B & 1 D (Mar 24) Moved rooms twice. 1st due to noise issues, 2nd was just awful-tiny, dark, grubby, dreary room. Broken chair, bed, bath. Floor on a slant. Curtains/blinds better from a skip. 3rd room woke to builders 9am!! Terrible stay

The air con was on in the restaurant and made it uncomfortable. The air con was also on in the changing rooms for the pool and this made it very cold when you got out of the pool. The showers in the pool changing room were scalding hot so could not b

2 nights B&B with a 3 course evening meal. It was great value. Parking around in corner in the multi-story was free for the weekend. The main square is only a 10-15 minute walk with plenty to see in between. Nice view of the river.

Our room was big bright and spotlessly clean. Toilets and public rooms were spotless. We had a small problem but Paul the manager looked after and remedied this for us. Staff were polite and attentive

The hotel location was perfect, right in the city centre. While parking was a small bit away from the hotel, getting free parking near the city centre was an advantage in itself. The Family plus room was perfect size for a family of 5.

The hotel is in a good location the staff in the bar we're not very interested in serving the customers and cleaning the bar counter and the tables the food is very good value for the cost of it the hotel needs updating and it was very cold

We have been going to treacys at Christmas time for the last 8 years. The family run hotel has a lovely friendly atmosphere. The playroom in the bar is great but would be nice if it was updated. Bar food is nice. Breakfast foods could be improved.

All good. As others have commented, there were a few small issues like a cracked (but non-leaking) sink and bath tub, a broken tap and some worn decor that could easily and cheaply be put right, but you get what you pay for and it was good value.

We were given a room that was not suitable for 2 people.The smallest room we ever stayed in. The ensuite was also tiny. We complained & were moved to a bigger room which was on a different level accommodation wise to our 1st room.

Very friendly staff, very convenient placinging in the heart of Waterford City, bit I would ask for a front facing room as our room was a view of an inside flat roof covered in cigarette butt's. But overall this hotel is worth a stay.

We booked two rooms through Super Valu breaks - a triple and a family room and both wee fantastic. The family room was wonderful, with a king size bed, a single and a kid's bunk bed. The meals were lovely and staff were great. Will definitely be back

Great location, a stroll to Waterford Cultural centre. Gym & pool were dated but perfect for a short fitness session. All of us used them during our stay. Staff were really young but customer service lady who managed the dinner & breakfast was superb

We had a wonderful time in Tracy's. The staff are super. The breakfast was very good and the chef kept topping up the buffet so it was very freshly cooked. It is very central a few minutes walk from bus station. Our room and bed perfect.

We were in the Hotel in 2020 just before Covid hits and we had a great time hence we decided to go again. Everything went downhill from arriving and we were given two separate rooms 104 & 108 not even beside. I booked interconnecting rooms

Only downfall was food in bar. Chips are skinny ,fine for kids but not for adults. We ate out mostly for our stay and got amazing food down the town. Food and drinks were very expensive too . 6e for a pint.

Not a great experience. Very rough and ready. Food and drink quite expensive. Mattresses very poor quality. Service in bar very poor. Alot of large party groups taking over the place, alot of noise late into the night. Would not go back.

We were in Waterford for the first time and found that our Hotel was in the perfect location. Due to Covid we did not get the full impact of the hotel and Waterford. The hotel did very well in the effort to control Covid.

We went for a three day break in August when checking us in. There was no phone in our room. The room window was small but the room was adequate for our stay . Gym and pool facilities were great. Overall stay was brilliant and would recommend.

Fantastic hotel in a fantastic location, right beside the start of the Greenway and near all the shops and restaurants. Lovely pool too!

Very central and easy to find. Experience with breakfast and the restaurant was excellent. All facilities needed in the room, but a bigger window to enjoy the view would enhance the experience.

This Hotel is on Another Level because of The Staff! The Reception , Waiters & Waitresses , Housekeeping , Gym Pool & Spa , Bar Staff. Not one member of staff who was not polite warm friendly and helpful when u needed them.

Excellent Hotel, amazing food and fantastic Service. Myself and my partner stayed here for 2 nights the first weekend of October and we honestly can't say enough about this hotel and its service. Its by far the best hotel we have stayed in.

Brilliant weekend This was our first trip away since December as we have not been away since 3rd lockdown. Although there are still restrictions here in Ireland John Treacy and Staff have handled to to a T.
